Here is a photo of our presentation at Compass Points. Compass points was a part of the Magnetic North festival for emerging artists and students. We were asked to give a presentation on Why Not Theatre, our work, our company and modes of creation.We were honoured to speak after an exciting panel of Vancouver based artists and companies like Boca Del Lupo, Theatre Replacement and The Chop (who we met for the first time!)
People really responded to our presentation and we made some new friends! It was nice to be able to share our work and stories with young artists and begin a dialogue with the community of artists here in Vancouver.

The presentation was great. Really clear, and open. I think it was pretty inspiring for that group of students who were there. I esp. appreciated your sharing the story around the New York fumblings and the importance of communication and specificity in building a new company. Something that I continually wrestle with- being open but being clear. Would have loved to hear more about the specifics of the Hamlet project and your approach to the work. That piece had people talking all the way out in Montreal so bravo!
